CURRENT PROGRAMS
We provide care packages for the students at Christmas time. Members of the association are encouraged to purchase multiple care packages containing a variety of grocery items, which are then delivered to each student.
We have adopted the Home Economics Department and continue the upgrade and renovate the department to enhance the students’ experiences.
Our Events
Memorial Church Service – Every year, usually in the Spring, the Manning’s Past Student Association New York, attend a church service, worshipping with their congregation and also memorialize our members who have passed on from this life in the past year.
Annual UJAA Raffle – This annual event usually takes place in the Summer. Members seek to sell as many tickets as possible as this is one of our major fundraising events. This culminates in a gala where the drawing for prizes is done.
Annual Family BBQ – This annual summer event is usually held at Hempstead State Park in Long Island, New York. All are invited to partake of the diverse variety of food items, games, competitions, prizes and surprises.
